A shower you show off.
A shower you can trust.

QC Showers builds custom showers that look like the most expensive room in the house and behave like the safest one. Curbless entries. Solid-anchored grab bars in brass and stainless. Seamless stone-look panels, frameless glass and hardware selected the way a designer would select them — installed the way a licensed plumber would install them.

The whole idea

Most accessible showers look like a hospital. Most luxury showers are a hazard.

We refuse the trade-off. Every QC Shower is engineered around a flat, curbless entry and blocked-and-backed walls, so grab bars can be added now or twenty years from now without opening a wall. Then it's finished like a suite at a resort — seamless stone-look panels, frameless glass, warm metal, a single-slope floor. No grout lines anywhere.

The safety is structural. The luxury is what you see.

“I want the showers to be safe for the old people but yet chic for the younger folks with money.” John F. Montiel — Owner, QC Plumbing

The collection

Three ways to build it.

Every one is made to measure. Nothing here is an off-the-shelf insert dropped into a hole.

01

The Statement Walk-In

The one people photograph. Floor-to-ceiling seamless panels, frameless glass, a rain head plus handheld, bench seating, and a niche lit from inside.

  • Curbless, zero-threshold entry
  • Seamless walls — no grout lines, ever
  • Single-slope pan, linear or center drain
  • Frameless low-iron glass
  • Brass, matte black or stainless trim
02

The Wet Room

Shower and freestanding tub share one waterproofed, drained enclosure. The most dramatic footprint we build, and the easiest to roll a chair into.

  • Full-room waterproofing membrane
  • No curb, no lip, no step
  • Room for two, or for a caregiver
  • Heated floor optional
03

The Accessible Suite

Built to ADA geometry without reading as medical. Clear turning radius, seated controls, reachable valve — finished in the same materials as 01 and 02.

  • ADA-compliant clearances and reach ranges
  • Fold-down or built-in teak bench
  • Grab bars anchored to solid blocking
  • Slip-rated pan, tested coefficient of friction

Recent work

Every image on this page is a room we actually built. No stock photography, no manufacturer renderings, no AI.

Grab bars, done properly

Hardware, not equipment.

A grab bar screwed into drywall is decoration that fails at the worst moment. Ours land in blocking installed before the walls close up, so every bar takes real load. We supply them in coordinated three-packs — one long horizontal, one vertical entry bar, one angled transfer bar — so the bath reads as designed, not assembled.

Brass — warm, matches the fixtures
Stainless — clean, modern, commercial-grade

Sold as 3-packs. Also available as an add-on to any existing QC Plumbing bathroom.

Horizontal bar, vertical entry bar, fold-down seat and a handheld on a slide bar — installed together so the room still reads as a bathroom.

Blocked and backed

Solid wood or steel blocking behind the board at every anticipated bar location — even the ones you are not installing yet. Future-proofing costs almost nothing during the build and is expensive to retrofit later.

Reachable, seated or standing

Valve, diverter and handheld are placed so they work from the bench. No reaching across a hot stream, no stepping out to adjust temperature.

Floors rated for wet feet

The pan is factory-textured to a published, tested coefficient of friction — grip you can point to on a spec sheet, not a guess about how rough it feels dry.

Who we build for

Four kinds of client.

The statement remodel

Established homeowners who want the primary bath to be the best room in the house — and who would rather it also still work in thirty years.

Aging in place, on purpose

Families who need the grab bars, the bench and the flat entry now — and refuse to make the house look like a facility to get them.

Medical & clinical

Care homes, assisted living, rehab and clinical settings that need code-correct accessible showering with a finish level that reassures families on the tour.

Builders & general contractors

GCs on top-tier custom homes who need one trade partner to own the shower from waterproofing through glass, and to hand it over without a callback.

How it goes

Four steps, no mystery.

01

Design visit

We measure the room, look at how you actually use it, and talk through what has to work ten years out. You'll see finish options on an iPad, not a catalog you have to carry home.

02

Written scope

An itemized scope and a firm number. Waterproofing method, drain type, panel and pan selections, glass spec, hardware finish and every grab-bar location — on paper, before anything is demolished.

03

Build

Licensed plumbing, blocking, waterproofing, panels, glass. One crew, one point of contact, a protected path through your house, and a dated schedule.

04

Walkthrough

We run it, test the slope and the drain, adjust the valve temperature limit, and hand you care instructions for the surfaces, glass and metal you chose.
